Owing to my current workload I am not accepting new instructions. In order to continue handling my existing matters carefully, reliably and to a high standard, I ask for your understanding. Please refrain from related enquiries by telephone or in writing. Thank you.

Sending your details does not yet create an attorney–client relationship. An engagement comes about only once I have expressly confirmed it in writing. Until the matter is accepted I assume no responsibility for reviewing deadlines or any other content.

Tax law does not forgive divided attention. Deadlines, files and proceedings carry my name, which is why the number of matters stays limited and the work stays with me.

I work alone. Whatever I take on, I handle myself; there is no one I pass it to.

Tax law is a discipline of exact wording. Cases are rarely decided on the broad argument and usually on a single sentence in an assessment, a deadline, a file note.

I write plainly. My clients should be able to follow what I am doing and why, without legal training.
